Measles, mumps, rubella vaccine - Recommended as two doses for all travelers born after 1956. This type of vaccine should not be given to pregnant or immunocompromised people.
Tetanus- diphtheria vaccine - Recommended for all travelers who have never been given a tetanus- diphtheria immunization in the past.
Influenza vaccine - Recommended for all travelers to Spain during the flu season (November- April). This vaccine should not be given to pregnant women during their first trimester and to people who are allergic to eggs.
Hepatitis A vaccine - Also recommended but should be required when traveling frequently to Spain or if the traveler intends to stay for a long time in the country. Recommendations can change from time to time so it is always advisable for travelers to consult their doctors for suggested vaccinations prior to their trip.
