Interning in Spain

Internships in Spain usually starts after students finish their studies. Spanish universities do not have internships. Currently, however, some Spanish companies are comfortable in having students do an internship at their companies. These international students usually come from other European countries.

Some of the reasons why students decide to have internships in Spain are mainly because they want to learn to speak Spanish, to grab the opportunity to increase their cultural awareness or to experience working in an international setting.

Students who are searching for Spanish Businesses, which at times can be difficult, can seek the help of a placement organization. Most internships in Spain last for only a short period of time so companies invest considerable amount of time and effort in training students and are usually oftentimes unpaid.
