- Premier national park of the Philippines, named after DR. JOSE RIZAL the national hero of the Philippines. Among Filipinos, it is commonly called as "Luneta" in which the national hero's monument is located at the heart of the park as a symbolism of the hero's execution. Located in the capital city of the Philippines, Manila
FORT SANTIAGO
- Preserved as the Shrine of Freedom and a symbolism of military power of Spanish rule for three centuries. Located in Manila, it attracts travelers because of its nostalgic feel of the place.
CULTURAL CENTER OF THE PHILIPPINES
A splendid structure designed by Architect Leandro Locsin. A witness of world-class performances from various artists both local and international. Performances like Miss Saigon in Manila have been staged in this beautiful 1,400-seater main theatre along Roxas Boulevard Manila. An abode to some world-class Filipino performers like the Bayanihan Dance Troupe whose major performances as well as recitals have been done. Another is the Huseng Batute Theatre where up-and-coming artists produce shows, exhibitions as well as other stagings.
MT. MAYON (Albay, Philippines)
Volcano known for its most perfect cone shape and noticeable height. Located in Albay, Bicol another beautiful and must-see island of the Philippines.
MT. APO NATIONAL PARK
The highest mountain in the entire archipelago, abode to the Philippine National Bird: Philippines Eagle. Located down south in the province of Davao, the island known for beautiful orchids and home of the putrid yet delicious fruit of "durian".
MAHAGNAO LAKE (Leyte)
An immaculate lake located in one of the historic islands of the Philippines, Leyte. The lake is surrounded by invigorating botanical sight of wild orchids, tropical flowers and plants. Much fitting to backpacker travelers and campers.
