International airports (how to get to and from there)

1. Milan Linate International Airport (LIN)
This airport is located 7 km east of Milan. Taxis can be used to get to and from the city centre. When getting to the airport, take the Via XXII Marzo and Viale Corsica. The airport links to several road networks divided into Autostradas. From the north it leads to Milan and Varese, from the southeast is Piacenza and to the south is Genoa.
2. Milan Malpensa International Airport (MXP)
Buses and trains are available to connect to the city. It serves northern part of Italy with flights from all over Europe and the US. Shuttle bus services connects the two terminals in Malpensa international airport.
3. Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (FCO)
Popularly known by the local people as 'Fiumicino', this airport is considered to be the country's premier airport with passengers coming from several countries. Located at about 32 km southwest of Rome, the airport has three terminals A, B and C catering to both domestic and international flights. Cotral buses arrive every after 30 minutes and carry passengers to the city proper. You can also take the Leonardo Express direct train.
4. Trieste International Airport (TRS)
This airport is located about 33 km from Trieste. A Public Transport company connects from the city to the airport through bus and coach services. By taking the APT Bus 10 you'll get through the Monfalcone Railway Station which is situated around 5 km from the airport.
5. Turin International Airport (TRN)
From the city proper the airport is located around 16 km far. To get to the city, you can take buses and in several railway stations. Taxis and buses are always available at the airport.
6. Palermo International Airport (PMO)
Public transport from the airport to the city is usually provided by buses. The airport is located 32 km outside the city of Palermo. Taxis and buses are available at the airport.
