Buses

Most towns in France have bus systems, and Angers is no exception. Bus tickets or cards are needed when in Angers. You can buy individual bus tickets, but if you plan to ride the bus often, it is advisable to buy a bus pass. Bus service is generally very good and runs every 10-20 minutes from a stop during the day. At night, however (after 7 PM), fewer buses run (every 30-60 minutes per stop) and quit running all together between 11 PM- 12 AM. If you depend on a bus to get home late at night, watch your time to make sure you leave early enough, plan to walk, or take a taxi home.
