France is generally safe for women travelers. However, a woman who is traveling to France should take the necessary precaution to avoid any danger. It is always safe not to walk through deserted and dark roads during night time. Women are more vulnerable to danger when they travel alone. It is always safe to go out especially late at night with somebody. Contact the nearest police station in case of any threat or danger. You can also dial 17 for emergency police situations.
