Volunteering in France

Although France is not very popular for charity works, there are a number of French organizations which are involved in charity works especially during the winter.

One of the problems that France faces especially during the cold season is the increasing number of homeless individuals. This is an opportunity for many foreigners to do volunteer work in France. Guide Solidarite in Paris serves as a resource for lists of homeless shelters. Doing volunteer work in France is also a great opportunity to learn the French language.
