There is no special vaccination required for travelers to France. However, tourists are advised to go to rural and heavily forested areas during the warm seasons only.

Below are the recommended vaccinations when traveling to France:

Measles- mumps- rubella vaccine.
Recommended as two doses if it is the first time for the traveler to receive this vaccine. Travelers born after 1956 are advised to receive the vaccine. It is not to be given to pregnant women.

Influenza vaccine.
Recommended for all travelers during flu season (November- April). Possible side effects may include fever, muscle aches and malaise.

Tetanus- diphtheria vaccine.
Recommended for travelers who have not received the vaccine fro the past 10 years.
